With the constant demand of the changing season’s and requests of customers and retailers, designers do not have time to do everything. We are here to help. In business for over 9 years and with over 400 new brands launched, the DCC has extensive knowledge of manufacturing domestically, focusing on Los Angeles. We can help you with your business. The DCC is a co-op of young hip designers specializing in all categories of apparel and manufacturing. If you need a designer, illustrator, or tech designer, we have it. We also provide trend, color, and retail forecast and analysis. We will provide you with mood and trend boards, detailed shopping reports, a trend forecast with sketches specific to your business. We are experts in Product Development of almost all categories, specializing in Contemporary Women’s, Men’s, Active-Wear, Swim-Wear, Children’s, Lingerie, and more. We can also carry out all duties for Pre-Production and Production steps. The Designer Consulting Co-Op has become a valuable resource in the fashion industry and supports Fashion Business Inc., TALA, and CFA.

The process of manufacturing production quality garments for stores. The DCC specializes in domestic production and can handle production of 6 to 6,000 garments.

The act of recommending a service or organization to a client to aid them in the product development process. Can be associated with sourcing. The DCC generally has an established and professional relationship with all of our referrals. Referrals include: screen printers, embroiderers and many other contractors and vendors in the industry.

Part of technical package that includes instructions for stitching, machine finishes and what to sew first.
 
 
SOURCING
SOURCING
Purchasing materials (ie: fabrics and trims) or resources from an outside supplier/company. The DCC sources in Los Angeles amongst local vendors, in New York at Premiere Vision and in Las Vegas at Magic. The DCC also sources from a pool of hundreds of vendors from around the world who have low minimums for such materials as trims and custom fabrics.
