Should you “show” at a Trade Show?

Participation in fashion trade shows is a necessary part of making a name in the fashion industry or finding the right product for a retail store or other fashion-related business. These exhibitions allow designers to showcase their fashions, retailers to present their products and give other industry professionals, as well as the press, an opportunity to view the designs and make connections that are incredibly important in the fashion industry.

 

Trade shows for fashion are happening all over the place, throughout the year, which gives those desiring to participate in many opportunities to do so. We have provided this fashion trade shows calendar to make it simple to choose the right fit.

  • Trunk Show New York 5/10/19-5/11/19

  • Fashion trade shows NYC includes Pre Coterie, the premier global event for women’s apparel, accessories, and footwear designers. Held in the Jacob Javitz Center, this event is ideal for connecting retailers and designers.

 

  • MODA 6/9/19-6/11/19
  • Taking place alongside Pre Coterie at the Jacob Javitz Center, MODA is a fashion trade show for designers to showcase modern contemporary ready-to-wear collections.

 

  • FAME 6/9/19-6/11/19
  • The third fashion trade show Javitz Center held concurrently, FAME is a mixture of young contemporary fashions and trend-driven fashions for women. This exhibition is hip and exciting.

  • Outdoor Retailer 6/18/19-6/20/19
  • A fashion trade show of the outdoor clothing industry, Outdoor Retailer is held in Denver.

 

  • The Deerfield Show 6/23/19-6/24/19
  • This fashion trade show in the Midwest allows retail buyers to shop contemporary fashions, swimwear, footwear, and more. Located at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Deerfield, the tradeshow is by appointment only and takes place four times a year.

 

  • GTS Florida Expo 6/28/19-6/30/19

  • With over 300 contributors and 1,000 sportswear lines, the Chicago Collective Men’s Sportswear trade show is the one place to be. Held at Merchandise Mart, this the main event for men’s sportswear.

 

  • SOURCING AT MAGIC 8/11/19-8/14/19
  • This magic fashion trade show in Las Vegas is a source of inspiration, innovation, and education. There are over 40 countries represented at this event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where industry professionals discuss how to keep fashion moving forward.   • Mode Accessories Toronto 8/11/19-8/13/19
  • This fashion trade show in Toronto focuses on women’s fashion accessories. Held at Delta Hotels by Marriott at the Toronto Airport, this show has every accessory a woman could want.

 

  • WWD MAGIC 8/12/19-8/14/19
  • A magic fashion trade show, WWDMAGIC includes the largest selection of women’s apparel and accessories. Located in the Las Vegas Convention Center, this exhibit showcases women’s and juniors’ trends.  They also have Sourcing at Magic where you can find factories and fabrics globally, including Peru, China, Mexico, and US factories.  You can source fabrics like cotton, silk, cupro, denim, and more.

  • This fashion trade show is located at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It features a showcasing of men’s contemporary, denim, and designer collections perfect for designers, manufacturers, and retailers.

 

  • PROJECT WOMENS 8/12/19-8/14/19
  • This fashion trade show for women is located at the Las Vegas Convention Center, running concurrently with PROJECT. This showcase gives buyers access to the best emerging and established women’s brands, including Oasis and Conscious Collections.

 

  • MAGIC MENS 8/12/19-8/14/19
  • Also at the Las Vegas Convention Center, this collective showcases all types of apparel for men and young men.
  • Other exhibitions taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center during this period include the POOLTRADESHOW, CURVE LAS VEGAS, and CHILDREN’S CLUB. The convention center features the largest fashion trade show collective event in Las Vegas, with nearly every type of apparel to choose from.

  • Womenswear in Nevada is a 4-day event located at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. This fashion trade show in Las Vegas showcases every category as well as every price point.

  • The DG Expo will be in Chicago offering textiles and trimmings exhibits for retailers and designers, as well as business classes.

  • Norton’s Gatlinburg Apparel, Jewelry, and Gift Show 9/7/19-9/9/19
  • The Gatlinburg Convention Center is hosting this fashion trade show featuring women, children, and men’s apparel, jewelry, and accessories. This exhibition is wholesale only, immediate delivery, and cash-and-carry.

 

  • REV Chicago Boutique Show 9/8/19-9/10/19
  • This wholesale fashion trade show will be held at the Market Xchange Building in Des Plaines, Illinois. The Rev Boutique Show connects fashion retailers and brands and is an order-writing show.

 

  • TRENDZ West 9/9/19-9/11/19
  • This fashion trade show in Florida features TRENDZ, successful apparel and accessories ladies’ wholesale order-writing trade show. TRENDZ fashions appeal to the travelers and resort-goers of Florida. It is the largest women’s apparel show in Florida.

 

  • EDGE Designers NYC 9/13/19-9/15/19
  • EDGE Designers is a New York fashion trade show that showcases over 70 collections which appeal to high-fashion stores. EDGE features international designers with Euro-styled, Neo-romantic, and Urban-chic collections of clothing, shoes, and accessories, and takes place at the Stewart Hotel in New York City.

 

  • Studio Atelier NYC Show 9/14/19-9/16/19
  • This exhibition of over 50 well-known fashion brands takes place at the Hudson Mercantile. This is a beautiful event that celebrates women, fashion, and community.

 

  • FAME 9/15/19-9/17/19
  • FAME is a mixture of young contemporary fashions and trend-driven fashions for women. This is a fashion trade show at the Javitz Center, alongside several other exhibitions.
  • Concurrent exhibitions at the Javitz Center are the upscale event MODA, STITCH @ COTERIE featuring contemporary, sportswear, and international wear, COTERIE, a premier showcase of women’s apparel and footwear, and SOLE COMMERCE, women and junior footwear exhibition.

 

  • Curate NYC 9/15/19-9/17/19
  • Located at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, this fashion trade show brings together 30 like-minded designers to explore creativity and uniqueness in art and fashion.

  • The LA Kids Market is a children’s fashion trade show that takes place at the California Market Center. It features the industry’s top kids and maternity brands from around the world and consists of 50 showrooms and 800 brands.

 

  • Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show and Sale 10/18/19-10/19/19
  • This vintage fashion trade show includes a variety of vintage clothes and displays. An abundance of fashion designers, makeup artists, and antique clothing manufacturers are in attendance to share their products and make connections. This vintage style event takes place at the Manhattan Pavilion in New York.

 

  • Dallas Apparel and Accessories 10/23/19-10/26/19
  • This fashion trade show in Dallas consists of clothing and accessories ranging from classic to contemporary. Held at the Dallas Market Center, there are a wide variety and temporary showrooms.

 

  • ABC Kids Expo 10/23/19-10/25/19
  • Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, this trade show for kids products and fashions consists of worldwide designers and vendors.
